Writing as a Teen

                As a teenager, I have done more writing than I had done in my entire adolescence combined. In fact, I find that every week I end up doing more writing than any other task. Whether it is practice for an SAT test, or the English AP test I am constantly writing. While somewhat tedious and boring, I realize that all this practice is for the best. I know that once in college, the amount of writing will only increase. So I try and make the most out of my writing assignments, understanding that they will improve my skills for the future. One of my main struggles, has been to find a mature voice. I still have far from perfected it, but I have improved it due to an increase in vocabulary, and a more complex sentence structure. Writing will no doubt be a part of my life, and I will strive to use tedious assignments as a practice for the future.
